WASHING REQUIREMENTS
THE FOLLOWING WASHING REGULATIONS APPLY TO OUR BIKINIS:
Rinse your bikini with clean lukewarm tap water within a few hours of each swim to remove chlorine and salt.
If the bikini has become dirty, you can wash the bikini by hand in lukewarm water with a little bit of mild soap.
Do not soak your bikini for hours on end, but soak it through the water for a short time. Then rinse your bikini. Never wring out.
Hang your bikini to dry out of direct sunlight or lay your bikini flat to dry on the clothes rack or on a towel.
Do not store your bikini until it is completely dry. If you store your bikini when it is still wet or damp, your bikini can discolour. For the same reason, don't leave your bikini in a bag or damp towel.
Highly chlorinated water can bleach fabrics. It is therefore preferable to rinse chlorine (and also salt) immediately under (tap) water before sunbathing.
Fluorescent colors (Neon) are not lightfast / colorfast; they will fade much faster in bright sunlight and chlorine than other fabrics. The longer in the sun, the faster the fabric will fade, therefore we can not guarantee against discoloration by the sun / chlorine!
FOLLOW THE TIPS BELOW TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR BIKINI:
Never put your bikini or item of clothing in the washing machine and dryer. Lycra is a stretch material that can be damaged in the washing machine and dryer.
Do not use bleach and do not dry clean your bikini.
Do not iron.
Do not use separate stain cleaners, these are often aggressive.
Avoid whirlpools, especially bikinis with reflective material can be damaged.
Avoid direct contact with sunscreen and oil. These can damage the elastic and stain the fabric.
Be extra careful if you wash underwire bras, the underwire can bend.
Pay attention! Avoid contact with rough surfaces (walls, rocks, slides, etc.). Because the bikinis are made of nylon / lycra, they will start to pill (= 'fluff').
COMPLAINTS RESULTING FROM WRONG TREATMENT WILL NOT BE HONORED.
